Q.1 How much is water loss due to evaporation?
A: Depends upon the pool, location and the weather, but at the very most, one cm a day.
Q.2 How much will cost to locate the leak?
A: My average charge is around $200. Concrete pools tend to be the more expensive ones. Refer to my website for detailed information.
Q.3 Do you have all the equipment required to locate the leak?
A: Yes, yes and yes! Appreciate I have been "doing it" for over 15 years. I have all the equipment and experience as required for efficiently locating the leak.
Q.4 Do you repair the leak?
A: If I can, yes! And almost always I can. The main exception is when the leak is under concrete.
Q.5 Do you guarantee to find the leak?
A: Yes, with very specific exception as detailed on my website. Generally: "no find, no charge".
Q.6 Do you attend to pools outside Perth?
A: Yes! Refer to my website with respect to traveling costs.
Q.7 Can I do certain tests before you come to make your visit as short as possible?
A: Yes and no. For vinyl liner pools: not really. For fibre glass pools: perhaps. Concrete pools: probably. Refer to my website.
Q.8 My pool is leaking a lot, but only when I run the pump!
A: Almost certainly you have a sand-filter that leaks into the backwash line. Ring me and I will help you over the phone (no charge), or refer to a pool-shop.
Q.9 I have a liner pool. I know where the leak is. How to fix it?
A: Ring me, and I tell you what to do.
Q.10 My spa is leaking. Do you do spas?
A: Not my favourite! Give me a ring. Spas are very tricky, especially relative new, fancy acrylic spas. N.B. I do not guarantee to find the leak!
